Ocean First Institute launched its Blue Certified program at DEMA (Dive Equipment & Marketing Association) annual trade show. Our goal was to introduce and enroll dive shops and dive operators into our eco-certification program. We hosted three informative seminars and partnered with Blue The Dive to spread the message of sustainability.  It was a great success as many dive shops came on board, including the Southern Cross Club in Little Cayman and Misool Eco Resort in Raja Ampat. We were able to get manufacturers within the industry to work right along side by providing dive shops that become Blue Certified with incentives.
